Empty Spacing is a coding-based exploratory self-portrait: A girl sits beside the window of a desolate room in a future building. She is gazing at the energetic planet and those busy meteors, there’s no any way for her to pursue, just her and the silence.

Coding
This practice focuses on how to create continuous particles and apply “noise” method to express different motion graphic. Comparing to the rapid twitch of “random” method, the graphic’s motion is smoother and more dynamic.
Furthermore, this work is good to play with the Lofi beat music. Because of lag and RAM requirement, I turned the music off in the online version.

Reference
Movie - Lost in Translation (2003) and Her (2013). The most inspired element of these two movies was the empty and alone atmospheres.
